These are Lillian's favorite books! I think they're pretty cool, too. The illustrations are beautiful and it teaches mature vocabulary like ecstatic and ensemble. Lillian has been known to use iridescent in a sentence. Wow!

I'm glad to know you recommend these books. I've considered checking them out for my girls, but been hesitant. Maybe we will look for them the next time we are at the library.
When I see these books, they remind me of two others my girls love: "Alice the Fairy" by David Shannon, which is more on Claire's level, and "Pinkalicious" which both girls love. "Pinkalicious" is a lot of fun, and I've seen a sequel-"Purplicious".
Ty and I bought her that book! I'm glad she likes it! I loved it! It was so cute with all the pink and purple and with a name like Fancy Nancy you just can't go wrong!
Do you know if they have any books like that for boys?
